Located in a beautiful park, very near to the Main Square and the gate to Ulica Florianska, the 15th centure Barbican is another attraction of the lovely town of Krakow and is part of Poland's Rich history. The fee is cheap and as there are not too much to see, you don't need more than half hour .

You will find the Barbican which remains as part of the original fortifications of the city of Krakow. It is wonderful that such things are still there for all of us to see and enjoy.

Very near St. Florian's Gate and built 1498-1499. Lovely views from top and cheap to get into. Only 5 minute stroll from Main Square and you can also pay to view the remains of the city walls in this area. Open daily from 10.00am and worth a visit.

It was bizarre but we seemed to be the only ones wandering around here! We walked the city wall and saw the Barbican, there's so much history in this small town. Entry is cheap for everything in Krakow, and this was no exception

This beautiful structure is all that remains of what was once the fortification of the city, perfectly preserved it is located a few hundred meters from the central Market Square on Ulica Florianska.
Impossible to miss, and highly recommended.
