This hotel is a nice hotel, but the most important things people do in a hotel is SLEEP.
And I have to say that the bed there was VERY uncomfortable. You could feel the wood on your back. I slept very bad there. Although the hotel is cute and the rooms are huge. Especially 319 or 309 if I remember good.

I'm sorry for late reply but due to TripAdvisor policy we had to do verification process to answer you. Thank you for your overall nice comments about Hotel Eden! As for your supposed problem with the bed in your room, if at any time during your stay you had advised us, we would have either changed beds or given you a new room. Additionally, as we do not have rooms numbered 319 or 309, it is difficult to comment further. If you would kindly give us your name, we can identify the room and rectify the bed if necessary.
We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again to Hotel Eden.

My wife and I booked a long weekend away in Krakow, staying at the Eden Hotel, or so we thought. I booked the hotel in September for the 9,10,11 and 12 December 2011. The flight was okay, nothing to concern ourselves there and the transfer was waiting in the arrivals area, marvellous. The transfer took approximately 25 minutes. When we arrived at the hotel there was a number of people stood outside of the hotel, alarm bells not ringing yet. However, when we eventually got to the check-in desk we were informed that there was no room available for us. I explained when we had booked the hotel and showed the receptionist the confirmation notice. Eventually we were told that we had been moved to another hotel, which was local and that everything had been arranged that morning. The hotel receptionist tried to blame expedia for not allowing the hotel to contact us that morning (privacy of information). How would contacting us that morning been of any benefit ?, we were in a plane. The crux of the matter was, the Eden had been called by a school on the friday morning requiring a number of rooms, and I believe that because we were only a party of two, we were not considered important enough and they did not want our custom. This has left an extremely sour taste in our mouths and we will not be using this hotel ever again. BE WARNED.

Dear Sir,
We are very sorry for this inconvenience. The group that was staying in hotel Eden that weekend was bigger then expected. When they arrived with extra persons we just had to cope. They could not be separated for security reasons. Our only option was to offer you alternative accommodation in a nearby 3-star hotel.

Again we apologize and will do our best to ensure that this situation will not happen again.

Sweet hotel in the center of Kazimierz. Staff were friendly and helpful.. Rooms were quiet (on the back side of the hotel, overlooking the old Jewish cemetery), clean and reasonably sized. The beds, however, were the least comfortable of all the beds we experienced in a month of travels in Europe; they could definitely use an upgrade! The breakfast room - downstairs, next to the salt grotto and mikvah - was lovely and the breakfast buffet ample and delicious. They will even make eggs to order, but if you don't ask, they won't tell.

Room Tip: Rooms in the back, overlooking the cemetery, are (as you might imagine) quiet.

lovely quirky hotel very friendly staff. really nice quiet room with veranda. breakfast lovely and caters for all.very clean.most enjoyable stay and we will certainlybe back.very close to lovely restaurants.

A 3 story hotel which was converted from a large house. Room numbers are a little hard to figure out initially. The small elevator goes to each floor where the rooms are numbered a little differently. 201, 202, 203 etc are on the level with the elevator on the 2nd floor. 210, 211, 212 etc are up a small flight of stairs from the elevator level, 220,221,222 etc are up one more small flight of stairs. This hotel is not for those who cannot use stairs. Even if you are on the ground floor, the restaurant is downstairs, below where the elevator lets you off.
Beyond the stairs, this hotel had lovely rooms. Mine had two bedrooms with a door between them. One with two singles and the other with one single bed. Nice bathroom and views of the Jewish quarter. The noise from the surrounding restaurants and pubs can be loud if you are in the front of the hotel. The back overlooks an old Jewish cemetary so it's much quieter.
It's difficult to drive to this hotel due to the narrow cobblestone streets and there is no parking but the old town square is meters away.
Literally dozens of great restaurants and outdoor cafe's surround the hotel with fantastic food choices. The central square with hundreds of shops and entertainment choices can be reached with a 15 minute walk as can the castle and Schindlers factory. Much of the movie Shcindlers List was filmed in the area.
Breakfast was incredible each day with plenty of choices. WiFi was rather slow but available throughout the hotel. There is an internet station in the lobby coffee room.
The staff were very helpful and English was spoken throughout the city.

Room Tip: Rooms at the back are much quieter. First floor for those who don't like stairs.

lovely little hotel ,full of atmospere.a bit dark but the centre of krakow has small streets.the jewesh quarter is full of life and the hotel is well positionated.honest breakfast and helpful staff
