We stayed at the Sheraton and were looking at a place close by to save some wear and tear on the feet! We found Mieszczanska a very enjoyable experience. The decor was nice, the service was pleasant, the menu was in English, the waitress spoke decent English, the food was authentic and tasty and the prices extremely reasonable. Don't be put off by the office building-like exterior and the empty lobby and stairs down to the restaurant. A very nice experience.

While staying at the Novotel Centra we visited this restaurant which was approx 5 minutes walk away after seeing it recommended on Trip Advisor from someone who had stayed at the Novotel. The food was very good and inexpensive. Four main course meals with side dishes, two large beers, three bottles of water and a soft drink came to just over £25. We ate there twice and no complaints whatsoever. On both occasions there was a large party of students eating but the layout of the restaurant meant they were in a separate area and didn't disturb us. The staff spoke good English, were friendly and efficient. If we ever go back to Poland then we will certainly visit this restaurant again.

This restaurant seemed dated, but had a wide variety of food. It was in a large building. The mushroom soup was absolutely devine. The pierogi were quite good as well. Others in my group had the stew and stuffed cabbage, Polish favorites. Awesome value for money.

This restaurant came recommend by the staff at our hotel and although we only stayed in Krakow 4 nights we are here two of them. The food is without doubt some of the best food we have eater, Try the creamy mushroom served a bread bowl it was yummy. Both my husband and son had game and really enjoyed duck, wild boar and rabbit cooked in typical Polish style. If you are very hungry try a mixed plater of dumplings as a shared starter!!
The food prices are very reasonable as the restaurant is a good 10 mins from the main Square. £10-15 per head depending on the number of courses and the drinks you have
