Extensive brick oven Pizza menu... for meat lovers and vegetarians! Great combinations of excellent ingredients. Beer selection was fabulous, and cold!

Staff was "happy" and helpful.

Highly recommend a visit to this restaurant, just across Vistula river from Wawel Royal Castle. An easy 25 minute walk from Krakow's main square.

This restaurant has excellent pizza that rivals the best pizza in Itsly. All of the pizza is cooked in a wood burning oven. Wow, the taste is really great. The restaurant is just across the Debnicki Bridge and worth the short walk across the bridge . The service is excellent, courteous, and prompt.

To get straight to the point, it is American to appreciate the art of the pizzeria. Every legit pizza restaurant has their own style. The crust, sauce, toppings, cheese, etc... all determine the uniqueness and tradition. Well, in Krakow don't spend too much time looking for creative, delicious pizza. You'll search forever only to find that they are all pretty much the same; boring crust, almost no sauce (from a bag), and somewhat expensvie (7 or 8$)....at least considering how low quality it is. Oh, and be sure that they will top it off with horrible service....basically treat you like you're a burden on their life. How dare you disrupt there day by giving them business! Jerk! That being said, there is only one pizza establishment in Krakow that makes memorable pies and that's Pizza Garden. Click on the hyperlink to find the website. If you are a pizza hound and can't stand having to resort to the lazy, uninspired pies on offer in Krakow. Apparently, the owner of Pizza Garden built his own coal burning brick oven, because you can't buy them in Poland. That's what gives the crust its flavor. On top of that he mixes up the sauce each morning with canned plum tomatoes from Italy.....and, shock, he puts enough sauce on the pizza to make it an actual pizza. The other places smear some kind of ketchup on the dough as thinly as possible. He also worked in New York City for like 15 years for Grimaldi's, so he understands the craft. It's off the beaten path a little, but well worth it. Based on the fact that he said a lot of Polish customers don't like the pizza (it's too delicious probably) is further proof that it's the real deal. Polish people are woefully ignorant of high quality cuisine. They are content to eat cardboard and ketchup. That's fine, but you'd hate to see a real pizza place go out of business because the people prefer regressive, low-quality junk food. Go give it a try, and if you don't like it, then don't go to New York or anywhere else in the States. The pizza is probably too far advanced for your palate. Which is really too bad because it's delicious! Bon apetite!

Brick oven pizza. Absolutely blew me away ... who knew they made a great pie in Poland?!? The pizza was great! Our waitress absolutely wonderful. The owner is very, very nice.
The best pizza I've had in Europe! I'll definitely go back when I return to Krakow.
