“Great museum”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 12, 2013

It's a place definitely worth a visit. The note of warning do not go if you suffer from claustrophobia or asthma - there is a very strong smell of chemicals that made me feel sick. I had to come out after a short time as I felt as if I was suffocating.

“One of the Top 5 Main Atractions in Krakow!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

The Hipolit House (Kamienica Hipolitów) is the branch of the Historical Museum of the City of Krakow. This wonderful museum-house shows how people in Krakow used to live in 18th and 19th century.

“Matejko fans should visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 28, 2013

It is a nice museum, lots of open space to see the paintings and other works of art up close or further away. But if you want to see Jan Matejko works of art in all their huge and historic glory, you must visit

“Great Art”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 23, 2013

This review is for the 19th Century Polish Art Gallery above the Cloth Hall. Various rooms with plenty of paintings covering a large selection of Polish artists. Free on a Sunday. Some lovely paintings here and an hour well spent. When you finish you end up on the terrace which there is usually a charge for which is an added bonus as you get great views of the market square. Café up there is rather expensive.

“great view of the square”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 12, 2013

Interesting small museum / gallery. Note, most of the reviews below are for the underground museum, which is not to be missed. This is a small gallery above the Cloth Hall in the Market Square. Great terrace view of the Market Square and cafe.
