“Joy of an Hotel in a very interesting city”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 28, 2012

Just returned from a few days staying at this Hotel. The staff made arrangements for us to be picked up at the airport and as we arrived at 10.00am we were not expecting to have access to our room but we were shown right up to our room so this was a good start to our short break. The Hotel is in one of the refurbished traditional Krakow buildings but the inside has been completetly modernised with great care and much attention to detail. Our room was a twin at the front of the Hotel and looked out over the main street, we found this a bonus, due to the double glazing noise did not disturb us but we could watch everyday life going on in one of the main thoroughfares. Rear facing rooms look out over the missionary garden so unlike most Hotels in Krakow you win either way and no views of backyards and dustbins. Our room like the rest of the hotel was elegant but the designer had also managed to make it cosy and spacious. The beds were very comfortable and the pillows perfect. The bathroom was superb with an underfloor heated marble surface. The buffet breakfast was superb with hot and cold food and many local specialities. We had dinner in the restaurant a couple of nights and were extremely impressed, although the menu is limited the food was perfection and the sweets fabulous. The Hotel is located in a very good position with the old Jews quarter starting on the opposite side of the road, Wawel Castle and the Cathedral a steady 10 minute amble in one direction and the main market square a little further in the oppqsite direction. Every single member of staff we came into contact with bent over backwards to help in anyway and to advise on Krakow. They simply could not do enough for you. Lastly the Hotel was immaculately clean thoughout. At the price this Hotel is a gem and I would return at any time.

Very boutiquey, clean, excellent staff, well furnished and spacious. The breakfast was amazing - everything you could think of, anything you wanted cooked and even champagne!
A short walk from the Old Town. In a quiet location.
Dinner was equally good with plenty of choices. Reasonably priced.

Room Tip: we had 3 rooms between us and they were all equally good.

A wonderful stay at this hotel. No kettle in the room but we Asked for one and within minutes received one for use throughout stay. Breakfast was amazing with wide choice all included in price. Location good between two main parts of krakow. Thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Dear Guests,

Thank you for such great words and the recommendation. We are very glad, that you are satisfied with the hotel service and that you found our place wonderful.
You are right, we provide kettle on request, however now we have a nice alternative for all our guests. Everyday from 10 AM till midnight, the tea is served at the hotel lobby, free of charge.
We hope to see you again very soon in our hotel. Krakow still has so much to offer.

A great hotel, modern, clean, warm, comfortable. Staff were really helpful and friendly. The hotel was situated between the Jewish Quarter and the Old Quarter towards the Square. Enjoyed are stay. Just wish we had a double bed instead of two twins together.

Józefa Dietla in Kraków is not the prettiest boulevard in Krakow. Erotic shops sit nearby banks and vegetarian restaurants and through the middle of the street runs a street car. That all means that it's very user friendly, accessible, easy to get to and from and immediately near both the Old Quarter and Kazimeirz, the Jewish area. These areas are both immensely popular with tourists, and for good reason. Krakow is a fabulous city. Many historical buildings, a river, a castle, ramparts, history, and great restaurants. At the Queen which sits amidst this urban buzz, you'll find a very comfortable hotel with modern tasteful furnishings, free internet, and all you could want. We had a twin bedroom with fairly comfortable beds, a half bathroom as well as a full bathroom and a living room bigger than any i have ever seen in any hotel. A door opens up in the bedroom which looks over a huge open area with trees, far from anywhere it seems. Some rooms have balconies and the view is terrific. The breakfast is outstanding, the service very good. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Ask for a balcony room.

Beautiful hotel. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Organised tour for us and gave us some terrific recommendations for dinner. Room was spacious and hotel was clinically clean! Breakfast each morning was beautiful and the location is great. Ten minute stroll to main square and only 5 to Jewish quarter. I would definitely stay here again.
Rooms on the 3rd floor at the rear have beautiful views of the city.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend just gone and thoroughly loved our stay. Our room was on the 4th level and had a lovely outlook over Krakow Castle. The rooms are very spacious and stylishly appointed with a reasonably large modern and spotlessly clean bathroom. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we were always greeted with a smile. The breakfast offered a good selection including the option to have fresh eggs cooked to order. We would highly recommend this hotel to other travellers who are looking for a stylish stay in Krakow. The hotel is only around a short 10minute walk into the heart of the action.
