Description: We care for your health and carefully choose the ingredients for the dishes we prepare for you. Here at ZIELONA KUCHNIA you will find only the green cuisine, just as our name suggests. We only serve the finest selection of vegetables, fruit, organic meat, grain products and so much more. Our location may be new but the building itself, right on the courtyard of the council house nr 8, is over 100 years old.We were simply charmed by the wonderful atmosphere, the beauty and the long history of this place. The building was erected around 1908 and was destined to hold a blacksmith and locksmith business. After the First World War a local print shop was open here for years, and all of Chopin’s works were printed here for the first time in history. Today it is a great place for having a cosy get-together and enjoying yourself in great company.

The food here was the best we had during our stay in Krakow and very reasonably priced. Service was exceptional too.

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Krakow. It was very handy as we were only staying across the road. We had booked a table for 7pm and there was a couple at another table when we arrived. Its a small restaurant with not many tables (I think there is outside seating as well). The service was good, the food was lovely and we enjoyed a very good value 3 course meal. Would recommend to others, particularly if staying nearby.

This restaurant deserves more customers! It was almost empty when we came one evening yet it is better than many that we visited in the centre of Krakow albeit not cheaper. Is this the reason?
Dishes were attractively presented and tasteful although the spectacular looking dessert was more a feast for the eyes than taste buds.
South African rose wine was excellent and good value.
Service attentive and we were offered nalewka, a liquor produced in the restaurant as a freebie.

Hard to spot this place unless recommended as it is on a quiet road out of the city walls. This happened to be across the road from our apartment (cracowdays) and they recommended it to us.
The food had flavour but could've done with that something special. Modern Italian food is done so often now that it does something spectacular to stand out. The presentation and interior of the building was gorgeous and kept with the modern theme, had a gorgeous courtyard however clearly being there in january it was not in use. Service was mediocre.
Overall I would return as the food was nice but not for a special occasion if I wanted a treat.

We were very disappointed after reading so many good reviews. Of the two starters we ordered neither was available (and it wasn't busy!) and when I asked for the main course lamb, again not available. What we actually ate was fine, though with sweets limited to chocolate and nuts we didn't avail ourselves.
Of the five diners we had in Krakow this came last - and was the most expensive.
