Visiting Auschwitz is a sombre experience and not something you will particularly enjoy at the time. But you do leave with a sense of enrichment. KrakowDiscovery showed us a dvd en route which assisted us in preparing for what we are about to experience, for which we were very grateful.
The Salt Mine was a very pleasant surprise in the afternoon and did cheer us up. Doing the 2 tours on the same day saved time and we have experienced Slawek to be very informative and not over the top. He also recommended a nice restaurant when we returned to Krakow and dropped us just about at its front door. Thanks Slawek!!
