“Thank you Phil!”

Phil is amazing and helpful. We needed some stuff before hand and he went out of his way to get the items for us. THANK YOU SO MUCH PHIL!

Phil's tours starts early in the morning, this way you are able to avoid the crazy queue and I do mean it gets crazy. .. (see picture) - what you see in the picture is just half of the actual queue that runs into the building. We didn't have to queue :). The tour felt personal and he would share information on books and movies that you can read if you want to know more.

Phil offers packed lunches prepared by his wife, that includes sandwiches, fruits, juices, yoghurts and chips. I suggest you take this up. The food was lovely.

Overall, it was well worth the money and I would recommend Krakow Tours.

“'Thanks Phil'”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 19, 2013

Just returned from Krakow on a short break with friends from the Wirral. After lots of research we finally found 'Krakow Tours' on line and booked our tour to Auschwitz/Birkenau and also our taxi transfers to and from the airport. I must say a big 'thank you' to Phil Clark, who made our visit run smoothly. Transfers were very punctual with kind and friendly drivers. Also an excellent trip to Auschwitz, although very sad. We found Phil very informative and extremely accommodating especially when visiting Birkenau. We will definitely return to Krakow and will not hesitate to use Krakow Tours again. We recommend him highly. 'Thanks again Phil'

“Thanks Phil”

I visited Krakow with my Mum, her husband and two of their friends and we took a tour of Auschwitz with Phil Clark. It was a fantastic tour, Phil is very knowledgeable friendly and easy to get along with. Everything from the transport arrangements, entry and packed lunch was excellent and we had a really interesting and hassle free experience. Phil collected us at 8am from our hotel and that really helped as we arrived before many of the bigger tour groups. As we were leaving to move onto the next camp the first was just getting really busy.

All in all, we would recommend Phil to anyone as he really works to make your day go smoothly and allows you to get the best from the trip.

“Outstanding Tour Guide in Poland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 11, 2013

Andrew Durman was recommended in one of the travel guides we purchased for Eastern Europe. So I took a chance and hired him via email. He turned out to be a sensational guide. He picked us up at our hotel and took us on a 9 hour adventure to find my grandfather's birth place. Finding my grandfather's village had been a long standing dream of mine that Andrew more than fulfilled. He did basic research and followed up while we were in Poland. Andrew lived in the US for several years so he is fluent in English and Polish which obviously helped us in my ancestral search. After touring the village of Llomnica Droz with the Mayor (who Andrew met in town and charmed into coming along with us), he drove us through the beautiful countryside and then to the Jewish section of Krakow showing us important sites from WW II. Overall Andrew just left us with incredible tastes and memories of Krakow. We HIGHLY recommend Andrew for anyone who wants to visit Poland.

“An emotional day to remember!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 24, 2013

When we decided to have a short break to Krakow, we knew that Auschwitz/Birkenau had to be on our to do list!
I went on line and found Krakow Tours. After corresponding with Phil via e mail, we booked and we are so pleased that we did!
Phil met us at our hotel at 8am and drove us to Auschwitz. During the hour drive there, he pointed out some local places of interest before showing us a film of the concentration camps.
On arriving at Auschwitz, he briefed us on where to go and we did this on our own. Having spoken to other people, who went on a large group tour, we did the best thing.
From here we drove the short distance to Birkenau and for this Phil walked around with us - what a knowledgeable man! I will review both places separately as this one is for Krakow Tours.
Please, please do not confuse Krakow Tours with Crakow Tours they are not the same!!!!
I will be returning to Poland and will certainly be using the services of Phil Clark - Krakow Tours!
