On our trip we desided to use this company. We order transfer from the airport, transfer to Saltmines, Auschwitz and tranfser back to the airport. Everything was sell done. Daniel met us at the airport. This guy never see problems, just challenges. On our way to the hotel he told us a lot about the town and Poland. I recommend this company. We had a good stay in Krakos. Thanks to Daniel and his company. Se you next year.

We used Krakowtrip.com for our tours in Krakow back in April. This company should give classes on customer service, as they were just fantastic, we couldn't recommend them highly enough.

Our first trip with them was to Auschwitz and Birkenau, with Thomas as our guide. He arrived on time to collect us and had really great English. He chatted on the trip giving us alot of useful and interesting information. Due to road works, we arrived with just 5 minutes to spare for the guided tour. This was no problem for Thomas, he whisked us through the large crowd, told the lady on the counter he would be back with the money, got us headsets, put it on the right channel for us and directed us to the right tour guide. He then went off to pay for our tours, told us we could fix up with him later. After the tour, he was waiting to bring us to Birkenau.

Once we had finished this tour, we headed for Wadowice, the village where Pope John Paul lived. Thomas said it wasn't a long journey and we could have lunch there. When we got to Wadowice, he brought us to a lovely and extremely reasonably price restaurant for lunch. He translated the menu for us, made recommendations on traditonal dishes and then placed our order for us. He said he would go and find out opening times of Pope's museum etc while we had lunch, but not before he had asked a lady in the resturant who spoke english, to look out for us, if we needed anything!! On his return, he had found out information on the museum, checked if there was any services in the church that would prevent us from viewing it, and even where we could get great cream cakes, a favourite of the Popes! He then left us to do our tour and told us he would wait in the bus and there was no hurry.

The next day our tour was to the Salt Mines. This time our guide was Mikhail. Again he had great english and chatted all the way, giving us more information and tales. When we arrived at the Mines, he spoke with another tour guide and got us onto a private tour. Again he paid for our tickets and we fixed up with him later. We were the last ones out from the tour and he came in looking for us to make sure everything was ok! He drove us back into Krakow and did a great job avoiding the heavy traffic.

This company really came to our rescue when we got stuck in Krakow because of the volcanic ash. We were due to leave Krakow on the Thursday but we were still there Friday night. We decided there was no point staying so looked to get on the road. Trains and buses were full so we decided to ring Thomas and see if there was anything he could do. We had decided to head for Berlin. He couldn't bring us but said he would see what he could sort out for us. Within 15 minutes he had rang us back with details of a guy who would drive us to Berlin, a seven hour drive, for €58 a head. Fantastic. Then next morning, Thomas's friend, Paul, who owned this travel company arrived. He had a laptop with him and on each of our stops along the way, he checked out details of trains from Berlin for us.

It was a big break for us to get this trip to Berlin as it set us on our way to getting home.

Thomas from krakowtrips.com was the best. Not only with the tours they provide but also with arranging our transport to Berlin.

Krakow is a great city to visit and I would recommend it and if you are heading there, I would strongly recommend that you use krakowtrips for your trips

My wife and I have just returned from a trip to Krakow in Poland. It is a wonderful city with excellent quisine and a large number of attractions. I would, however, like to make special mention of the small family tour company that we used to take us to visit the Auschwitz camp, krakowtrip.com. We were taken by Daniel, who was a superb young chap, spoke great English, and was knowledgeable about all the things we asked about in Poland. Krakowtrip.com are not guides for Auschwitz, but at our email request they kindly pre-arranged bookings for a private guide to take us around the camp (her name was Alicia, and she was also excellent). Daniel then waited for us, to take us to Birkenau along with Alicia so we had no hassle with arrangements (one doesn't need extra stress when visiting such an emotional place). I can reccommend these guys.
Just a point of mention on the city though .... Krakow does not have any form of smoking ban ..... the cigarette smoke is absolutely terrible wherever you go and you should ask at the information centre for a pamphlet that lists the so-called "smoke-free" restaurants .... although it still blows in through the windows!!
Overall, we loved Krakow.
