“Krakov is a jewel”
Reviewed February 3, 2014

Last summer, I spent a week in your city: very fascinating!
My favourites: the historical center, the plant-park, the university, the old Jewish part Kazimierz with very nice restaurants and pubs, the Pod Orlem Pharmacy museum (not to miss!), the Jewish museum and in the surroundings: the Salt Mines
The Kazimierz part of the city has 5 renovated synagogues to visit: INCREDIBLE!
That is the reason, I am returning back next summer. (to viit the Oscar Schindler -factory and a few other places, I didn't visit last time.

Beautiful and close to lots of other main attractions. Surrounded by good restaurants, pubs and clubs. A nice walk bar the melting snow.

“A must see!”
Reviewed January 29, 2014

Anyone spending any amount of time in Krakow will naturally gravitate to this area. Sure, it is touristy but - wow - the ambiance, the buildings, the feeling you get when you stand in the middle of the historic center is so great, so magnificent. One can step back in time and picture this place and how it played such a prominent role in history. The architecture is stunning, the buildings so well-preserved and restored. All the little alleys and streets leading into or away from the square are full of restaurants, drinking establishments, little shops, and all so tastefully decorated and painted. There wasn't one eyesore to be had in this part of town.

This is a perfect spot for people-watching as well, both the self-assured locals and the bumbling tourists. If you enjoy photography, this is one place you can get some really nice shots.
