This could easily be 5 stars, wonderful Italian experience with a nice athmosfere, good food and a nice vibe. Wonderful staff that I don’t have anything bad to say about, very welcoming and professional. It loses one stars for this reason:
Food: the food was very good, but for 1# rated restaurant in krakow I was a bit disappointed. I have had better pasta in “worse” places. Maybe I was unlucky with my selection but it just seemed to miss that extra spark of 5 stars. I ordered the Gnocchi. I should have said something to the waiters about this.
Noise: this is perhaps not something the restaurant has to do with, but me and my husband were seated right next to a big group of 10-15 people, they were quite intoxicated and had a very loud level of noise. The venue is built so the noise echos a lot, but I do think it could have been better if we had been seated a bit further away. Me and my husband could barely hear each other from across the table.
Also, we shared a bottle of alcohol free wine. When we were paying we were given a complementary lemon shot - this I feel like the service could have been more aware of and don’t serve alcohol to people who are drinking alcohol free wine. Yes, we can just leave it alone, but some people have various reasons for not drinking and I want to be able to go somewhere without being served alcohol against my will. At least ask :)
We left a generous tip as the service was spectacular and it was overall a good night.
