We took the bike tour with the Cool Tour Company (just off the main square) on our first afternoon in Krakow. We saw the main sites at a leisurely pace, stopping at points just off the main square before moving on to Wawel, along and across the river to the Schindler factory and back to Kazimierz. We had time to stop for a beer and a chat by the river. Our guide was full of information and enthusiasm. The tour was the highlight of our stay.

My husband and I did this tour after seeing it on trip advisor. It was great. Covered so much and kris the tour leader was very good. Any one can do this if u can ride a bike. Very relaxed and easy. We thought it was very good value compared to some walking tours we saw at the info centre that covered half of what we did and cost more. Would recommend to any one. And a good bit of exercise while on holiday!

It was fantastic and wished we'd done it day one rather than a golf kart tour - they suck.

There was nothing like feeling the wind in your hair as you cycle through Krakow. You het taken to out of the way but very interesting spots and you really get a great sense of everyday life now and years gone by for the people of Krakow.

We decided to try the bike tour based on tripadvisor recommendations and the sounds of the tour from their website. There are dozens of tours in Krakow to chose from, but I am convinced this is one of the best. They offer a variety of bikes so can accommodate nearly everyone - most are easy riding city bikes with baskets in front to stash your stuff. The staff was really nice and spoke English extremely well. Michal was our Bike Tour guide and was very pleasant - a younger person but with a good grasp of Polish history. The ride is pretty much exactly as described - you get to see lots more than you could by foot in the same period of time. After the tour you will know better on what you want to go back to see and a better feel of where they are located. The cost was very reasonable and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon. No one on the tour had nay problems keeping up - I have a heart problem and I did just fine. The only up-hill is from along the river back to street level, otherwise it is pretty flat. There is a stop or two allowing for a bathroom run and another 20 min break where you can buy some food and/or drinks.

We also decided to use them for our Salt Mine tour. Sebastian is a former salt mine tour guide and is a wealth of knowledge. The small added cost compared to using public transit is well worth it. You get to enjoy some commentary along the way as well as Sebastian's wry sense of humor.

We wish we had more time in Krakow to take some of the other tours.

We only had a few days in krakow and wanted to see as many of the highlights we could so we could plan on what we wanted to spend our time on. Michael was amazing and charming. Weather was perfect and sites were more than impressive. Very easy to travel. Anyone can do this.
