We ate several al fresco lunches at Noworolski during our stay in Krakow, and while the setting and view onto the Rynek Gowny were top notch, the food and service were (alas) inconsistent.
The Greek salads were either very good (two days) or not very fresh (one day). A chocolate cake dessert we tried one day was clearly not fresh, but after we complained to our waiter, we got a second piece that was MUCH fresher and VERY tasty! We also tried an "iced coffee" that, unbeknownst to us, was iced coffee capped off with ice cream -- a nice surprise, but more than we expected.
Service at Noworloski was good but uneven -- servers greeted us immediately and served us quickly one day, but on the other two occasions, they disappeared for long stretches after greeting us.
If only because of the superb view on the Rynek Gowny, we overlooked the inconsistent service and food and went back there several times, mainly for the experience of eating outdoors in a lovely setting in a central location. That said, we probably would explore some other options on our next visit there.
