They've changed their name, I wonder if it's because they've left the GreenWay franchise? Very good food for excellent price, about 40 zloty for two main courses and two drinks. I'm vegan (weganski), so the staff pointed out the vegan versions on the menu, which I chose one. When it was delivered, it was not vegan, they checked with the cook who confirmed it. Of course they didn't apologise or offer a solution, just looked at me. So I swapped food with my friend who had by chance ordered Vegan. They're not that friendly and it's kind of a cafe (order at the counter and pay in advance). They call out when it's ready and you go back and get it. I would go back because the food was very good, and as every vegetarian knows, once you've found a vege place especially in traditionally meat-loving country, you count yourself lucky.

After reading the mixed reviews we still thought we'd give it a go. Firstly it has changed its name to GREEN DAY - must have been recent as menus had stickers covering the old name. We have been to a few great self serve veg places throughout our travels and would have to say this was the worst so far.
The carrot juice was not fresh - all juices had been pre poured and were in the glass cabinet. The lentil soup was ok. The Green Way plate was packed to the brim with mediocre tasting things like veg patties and salads.
Atmosphere left a little to be desired too.
Would go to Glonojad if in Krakow again instead.

We deliberately went to this vegetarian restaurant because of the reviews, but came back with mixed feelings. The concept is okay: self-service and with a somewhat original selection of international dishes in veggie style. The food was nice but not very hot (dishes were put together on the spot by retrieval from water-heated containers). Yet, the most disappointing part was that the girls operating the place appeared to have absolutely no interest whatsoever in what they were doing, whether it was cleaning the tables, putting the meals together or serving customers. They really couldn't care less.

We found this randomly and we went back the following day as well. We tried their big mix plate, which contain a bit of everything and it's just amazing! Also the drinks are handmade and delicious. Very recommend!!

When we visited Krakow 8 years ago Greenway was new and the only vegetarian restaurant in the Old Town. It had fresh food and mostly done in house.

Today there was mostly reheated meals, rice undercooked, kasza overcooked, sauce with flour lumps in it, jam out of a jar and staff that never smiled and was snarky against each other.

Perhaps we were there on an unlucky day, but we wouldn't visti it again, especially not since Krakow's got a heap of good, and even great, vegetarian and vegan offerings. Try Glonojad between the main train station and the Baszta instead.
