When we visited Krakow 8 years ago Greenway was new and the only vegetarian restaurant in the Old Town. It had fresh food and mostly done in house.

Today there was mostly reheated meals, rice undercooked, kasza overcooked, sauce with flour lumps in it, jam out of a jar and staff that never smiled and was snarky against each other.

Perhaps we were there on an unlucky day, but we wouldn't visti it again, especially not since Krakow's got a heap of good, and even great, vegetarian and vegan offerings. Try Glonojad between the main train station and the Baszta instead.

Found this restaurant on our last night in Krakow. Wish we had found it earlier! Had the Russian pierogies with carrot and spinach salad. WOW! It was so good we ordered second plates. We had eaten at a place touted as having the best pierogies in town and they were not that great. This restaurant offered much better food. If you're looking for potato and cheese pierogies a.k.a Russian pierogies, this is the place to go!

As a starter we had a soup of the day and a lentil soup. As main dish we took the 6 green(if I remember the name right), it was a selection of 6 dishes which they offer, for share.
Me and my friend we were so stuffed afterwards but it is worth it.
So depending on your hunger it could be also fine to share a soup and then having this selection.
I heartly can recommend this place

This was the second time in four years that I've come back to this place. The food is very good, and extremely flavorful. We enjoyed a sampler platter (the "Green Way", with a lot of unidentifiable, but very good, hearty food - all shovelled on a large oval serving plate), as well as mushroom and spinach crepes. Everything was delicious and they seem to do an exceptional job with their sauces, using yogurt to its full potential. The only less-than-great item was their falafel, which seemed like it was made from cornmeal (rather than chickpea flour) and was very bland with a stodgy, unpalatable texture. We also tried their strawberry smoothie and carrot juice - which were all very nice.

The restaurant is self-serve, meaning you place your order and collect your plate of food. For me, this was a still a great way to have a casual lunch and the prices are a fabulous bargain for their quality.

This is probably one of the best vegetarian restaurants I've been to - and I've come back several times. It's more vegetarian based than vegan, and it's not clear what ingredients are in the meals. The young staff all speak clear English.

It's a self-service type restaurant where you make an order, pay up front, and they quickly hand you your meal. You have to return your dirty dishes before you leave, which isn't made clear for non-Polish speakers.

The food is excellent, though is typical vegetarian. Lots of dairy based meals, and some meals appear to be heavy with processed foods. Not the best of places if you want a highly nutritious and healthy meal, but certainly a good alternative to your typical meat-serving food outlet.

Incredibly good value, and highly recommended. Even those who aren't vegetarian should enjoy this restaurant.
