I am not sure why quality is no longer an issue in Krakow's pastry shops. Everything is so industrial made with the worst ingredients and NO LOVE. I live in Poland for 5 years now and unfortunately I have to accept that Warsaw is a place where you can still find great pastry shops. Krakow (and not only Buczek) definitely needs to carefully think about this issue. Michalek pastry shop on Krupnicza street is struggling to maintain its quality, but more effort is needed in Krakow. On the other hand, if the quality keeps decreasing people end up eating less processed foods and less sugar and will be therefore healthier.
