“A tourist trap”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 10, 2012

Typical turist trap but a good one. The service was excellent to start with since we were the only guests, but later when the place was more crowded, we had to wait for more than half an hour to get the bill.

“cosy, hidden and good value for money”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 24, 2012

This cellar restaurant does not receive as much attention as some other places around it but is definitely worth a visit and the service and food were excellent.

“Excellent food, fantastic service, wonderful place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 21, 2012

As many Polish establishments it doesn't look much from the outside but it is very nice inside, brick cellar, cosy and very welcoming. Friendly, smiley staff. It was the menu and value for money that enticed us inside.

All the food we had in Poland was amazing but this place topped the lot. Excellent menu. Very tasty. Hot beer, yum.

Dessert menu very good, decent sized portions. Don't opt for having a wee Bailey's liqueur as you may be disappointed, it is a very small measure. Just have the pudding ;-) I had the sorbet.... wow! very strong in alcohol but once mixed in it is really good.

“tale of two halves”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 18, 2012

beautiful basement restaurant, it was a bit quiet though, we were the only 2 people in our room. The girlfriend had a goulash soup in bread for starter and pork ribs for main wich by all accounts were excellent. For my food i started with herring krakow style which ment cold pickled herring with onion. thought i'd try polish food but wasnt really my thing. for my main i tried to get a medium rare steak but probably due to language barrier i had to go with rare, came a bit too rare though, more blue than rare. otherwise very nice restaurant and would visit again
