Hit the spot! We wanted local cuisine in a local setting and by golly we got it. A very busy establishment heavy on meat with whopping glasses of Polish beer. We ate a hot meat platter for two which had chicken, steak, black pudding, spiced lamb sausage, snitzel, all with with white and red cabbage, dips, rice, potato wedges and a huge shredded spud crisp. Not for vegetarians or the feint hearted but a delight for your typical Trencherman! We sampled a shot of lemon vodka to whet our appetites then ended our feast with cherry vodka both on the house. It was what it said on the tin, we loved it and would recommend it to anyone which says something for two slightly fussy foodies. Dark Horse looked beautiful as ever.
