Great piece of history, but in quite a poor shape. Guide in Polish only. Apart from all the machinery, they also show two films, one of them is the oldest Polish documentary (over a century old), a lot of vintage boxes and amazing sculptures from matches. About 100 m down the road there's a footbridge over the tracks with some rather ingenious graffiti, highly recommended.

Definetly worth to visit this history where from first hand you can learn everything about match production. From chemistry behind it to all the engineering parts and machinery - truly fascinating. Before visit I wasnt aware that there can be that many types of matches.
As well you can buy different types of matches for the memory on the exit of museum and enjoy the exibition of matches:D I was amazed what kind of sculptures you can make out of only one match.

The idea for the museum is great but it lacks funding and inspiration. It is as if the factory closed on Friday and it became a museum on Monday. I personally did the translation of the tour information from Polish to English otherwise other English (non-Polish) visitors will struggle to understand anything.
