“Beautiful, newly renovated, excellent service, town centre - amazing breakfast!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 8, 2014

We are an American-Dutch couple who stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for friends' wedding in Elblag. The hotel is newly renovated to a very high standard, beautifully designed and well-appointed. Very high-quality bathrooms and mattresses (always nice!) and overall a lovely place to stay. The service could not have been better; we arrived close to 1am from Gdansk and the Reception staff arranged to have food sent to our room as we were hungry and not sure where to eat. The breakfast was a true highlight; a buffet of fruit, fresh breads, smoked fish and meat, eggs, sausages, bacon, yogurt, pastries; all very fresh and absolutely delicious. We wanted to have breakfast in our room the final day we were there and the waitstaff brought it down for us, really lovely service. The town centre is charming and this hotel is as central as it gets in Elblag; close to the local shops and cafes and restaurants and the canal. Great stay!

Stayed 3 nights at this nice hotel in Elblag. Its a very decent place with all the comforts that are needed for a good stay. The breakfast is very good. The restaurant menu choice is limited but all dishes are excellent. There are lot of choices around the old town for dinner. There's underground parking available at the hotel for PLN 20 per day. The hotel also has a small spa.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing the main street.

I stayed here recently for 3 nights on business. I have to say, the whole stay was pretty much faultless. Big, comfortable, modern bedrooms which include a mini bar plus tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom is very clean and has an excellent shower. Breakfast was superb. The bar is relaxing and comfortable with excellent beer. I will definitely be return to this hotel.

Stayed here for 3 nights and really enjoyed my stay. The room was very comfortable and, as the hotel is fairly new, everything is bang up to date. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The bar was good too, and the beer was nice and cold. You can visit the sports bar in the Hotel Viwaldi across the road, and, as it is a sister hotel to the Hotel Elblag, we were able to charge our drinks to our room.
Strongly recommended!

I travel infrequently from the USA to Elblag, Poland on business and usually stay downtown as it is within walking distance of a factory owned by the company I work for. If you are in Elblag, I would recommend you stay at the Hotel Elblag, a slice of luxury in this city. For 300 Polish slotty (about $100 USD) you can have a deluxe room in a very new, modern hotel which includes a very nice European breakfast. They have a very nice spa on premises too. Check out their website for more details. The room I had was large with the typical 2 beds shoved together to make one queen and had a bathroom with a tub (some have just showers). It took me a little time to figure out that the handle on the left in the tub regulated the amount of water flowing while the right handle adjusted temperature unlike in the USA where usually the left is hot and the right is cold with both handles each adjusting flow.

The staff was very friendly & courteous and would try and help with any directions, recommendations, or reservations, whatever was needed. The only negative is that I think they could use more lighting in the rooms, the maid did not put fresh towels in the bath even though I was there 2 nights, and they forgot to give me my wake-up call on the first night. These are things, if they read this review, that can be corrected by paying more attention to detail.

There is also a very good restaurant and bar on-site.

All in all, I believe this hotel to be a good luxurious bargain in Elblag and I will be staying there again when I return on business.

The pleasant Elbląg hotel is located at the Old Market of the former Hanze town of Elbląg, before 1945 Elbing in East-Prussia. The hotel annex restaurant is comfortable. Breakfast is excellent. Staffs are welcoming and attentive.

Elbląg was almost totally destroyed at the end of WW2. Parts of the centre were eventually rebuilt, and in 2000 rebuilding begun in a style emulating the previous Hanze town architecture.

Our non-smoking room had a relatively small, yet good double bed. The adequately decorated room had a desk & flat screen TV, fridge & wardrobe, a coffee & tea making facility, and a separate bathroom with washbasin, shower & toilet. All was impeccably clean.

Windows can be opened. Free Wi-Fi Internet. Surprisingly the safe-locker was not bolted to the wall of the wardrobe and could be moved. The ventilation in the bathroom appeared incredibly loud. At 22:00 the ventilation is turned off to provide guests a peaceful night.

In the basement you find the somewhat basic wellness area. The spa includes whirlpool, swimming-pool, Finnish sauna, Turkish steam-bath, showers, and dress rooms with lockers. The wellness area was clean and staffs helpful.

Overall we had a nice time. We would recommend this town centre hotel to anyone who seeks comfort at a good price-quality ratio.

The Good

Hotel was rebuilt, room are well sized, modern and clean.
Wi-Fi is free and reasonable bandwidth,
Tea kettle and a choice of fine coffee and tea
---------
The bad

Too simple for a 4 star hotel, no amenities at all, (just 2 dispensers one of liquid soap, the other of hand lotion).
Bed not too comfortable
Shower water pressure low (no bathtub), and has no door so water leeking to bathroom
There was some music with disturbing bass sound well after 1:00 AM
VOIP is blocked by them (is it communist china here?), I spoke with the IT manager he told me it “security policies”?!
