We spend a great relaxing family weekend at Zubrowka. Arriving without any expectations we were surprised by all the superb amenities and the service the hotel provided. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the swimming pool and the wellness area where were spent few hours during the short stay. The breakfast was an attraction itself, with the delicious scrambled eggs, pancakes, all possible kinds of meat, cheese and fish products... yummy! The hotel restaurant serves the best carpaccio and the mushroom soup I have ever had.
There was just a walking distance from the hotel to the beautiful national park and the Bialowieza museum. We took the bicycles to the bison reservation which was a nice ride through the forest.
All in all, excellent hotel experience in a unique location. Thank you!

My family and I just recently spent there an absolutely magical weekend. The hotel has beautiful interior design, a great spa, delicious food, wonderful service and is located just a short walk away from the Bialowieza National Park. We experienced gorgeous nature, saw the unique wisent, went on beautiful hikes in the woods and then had a wonderfully relaxing time at the hotel. Another great thing is that the chefs there cooked local dishes, so we indulged in local cuisine – absolutely delicious! We'll be back!

My familly spent 5 days in the hotel during the long weekend in May. Hotel welcomes with very warm hall unlike other chain hotels - I felt this atmosphere in some butique hotels in scandinavia. Full of sofas, arm chairs, pilows, books and wood pieces together with some pictures from the hotel history (connected with russian tzar) makes a great impresion. On the top od this You realise you are almost at the entrance of the medieaval forest with bisons, woolves, deers and other species. Hotel facilities provides various possibilities for spending a good time - there is a place for children inside and playground near the hotel with golf and tenis courts. swimming pools is quite fancy with fine saunas. Rooms clean and comfortable. Food iś good and tasty (there might be more variable day to day). Service ok. Fine interior yard for a sun bath. Rekomended visit to animal exibition close to the hotel at the park's tourist center. And the forest itself...unforgotten feeling.

I've just arrived from fantastic weekend in Białowieża and surroundings. Full of beautiful nature, where I found peace and calm.
I spent one night in Żubrówka hotel. I visited swimming pool and saunas area witch are fantastic. At the evening, lights are warm and give good atmosphere. Swimming pool and saunas area are design very well. In general all property is design very well.
After relax I visited restaurant. Cuisine-delicious, full of regional dishes and what a service! Mr Janusz is a geat waiter who made our dinner as a royal feast. There is a possibility to buy some rogional products to get some of flavor of Białowieża to home.
There is almost evertyhing what 4 stars room scholud have. Mini bar, tv on demand, good size, comfortable bed, cosy bathroom but there is no safe box.
In the hotel there is play room for children, night club, cigar club, small shop. If you didn't get a bike you can rent it in the reception. This option is paid. There are 2 parking. One paid and monitored second free of charge but without official security. But is secured. I left my car and nothing happend.
I give them 4 and a half stars. If I have opportunity to stay here once more I will do it with a pleasure!

Room Tip: If you need calm night ask the receptionist for a calm room on the second flour.

We arrived by car at this welcome hotel after driving from Warsaw with a stop at Treblinka along the way. It was pretty empty when we got there, but the rooms were big and our balcony provided a relaxing view. There is a small sklep (or grocery store) across the street and a local pub up the road from that. In the opposite direction is a walk to the park entrance where we did more bee watching (our visit was in June and the bees were all over the flowering trees creating a constant humming buzz as you walked beneath) than anything else.

On the second night of our stay the hotel became much more busy, and they finally turned on the main chandelier in the lobby. Still, the room was quiet and roomy and cozy, but I still dragged myself up at dawn to take in the wonderful view from the balcony. Limited in what we could do as sightseers because of the weather, we took advantage of an enormous pool area for a relaxing afternoon. While we never ate dinner at the restaurant, the breakfast buffet was simply amazing with meats, fish, breads, cereals, fruits and vegetables of all kinds to satisfy. Staffers at both the breakfast and lobby were attentive to our needs and questions. For dinner, you have to visit the Carska, which was the Czar's old train station (Bialowieza was the royal hunting grounds).

Room Tip: See if you can't get a room at the front of the hotel overlooking the road coming in and enjoy t...

This hotel dominates the strange 'village' of Bialowieza (which isn't really a village, but more a long winding road truncated by the entrance to the forest park). Apart from B&Bs, it is the only place to stay really. The rooms are comfortable if a little small, but the swimming pool and sauna complex are excellent. There is also a lovely (and very reasonable) day spa on the third floor. The breakfast is huge. The restaurant room has lots of hunting trophies on the wall and is striking if a bit dark - you will need to steal cushions for the chairs as they are very low. There are bikes for hire (you will need them). The staff are willing, but their English is poor. If you come by train, beware that there are no taxi services in the village.
