The hotel is very centrally located within walking distance to shopping malls and a lot of different public transport. There are two nice bars and a restaurant, but at a price of 16 zloty for a beer it was the most expensive beers we encountered anywere else. Our room was spacious and got the job done, though it really wasn't anything special.
The breakfast was very fine but the included evening meal was horrible! Meat and completely overcooked potates and vegetables and nothing more.
On a general note: The check-in personel was welcoming and service minded, but the poles speak very poor english and/or german, and they are not a charming bunch of people. If they are told to start selling beers at 11 you cannot buy anything at 10.59 and they do not even glance at you and tell you why they are ignoring you completely. In the hotel there was live jazz music at 9 - they came in at 8.40 and sat there with their instruments for 20 minutes and started playing at 9.00.04 (four seconds past nine).More
