With the beach so close and with the right meny for a light lunch at Balticana beach bar we had a nice stay in Sopot. We choose to pay a little more and got a double lux room, bigger and with a balcony. It was well worth the extra zloty.

We stayed four nights and were very pleased with this hotel. Staff was friendly at arrival and the room fine. The cleaning of it though was not up to what we expect. The second day it had not been cleaned by 4 pm and the beds were never straightened just covered up.
Breakfast was great, all the usual things plus some Polish extras such as delightful mixes of eggs and stuff in small forms.
We had two dinners here which were quite good, one fish (salmon/halibut) with bruschetta + garlic shrimps as first courses. The second dinner was accompanied by entertainment from an Asian three person group that sang American standard songs quite well.
Parking at the back yard worked out well (has to be booked).

We had a lovely conversation with Miss Alexandra on the phone but when we arrived, unfortunately she was not there. We were very disappointed in Miss Esthera (sp?) who was very rude. She never smiled and told us that she was very tired. We were also tired after driving many miles to this hotel.

Her colleague, Miss Joanna, however, was sweet and charming and really tried to help. We do not think Miss Esthera should be in the hospitality business.

We were supposed to have a room facing the water and all of those rooms had been given away. Then we were told that the parking lot was being torn up and that we would need to wait. We could not park the car until at least 21:00 and we had reserved parking. We had read online that parking spaces are very limited and go fast. That is putting it mildly.

They put us in an apartment since the rooms with views had been given away. Our apartment was dirty and very cold. Breakfast the next morning was very disappointing and we were immediately told that Lattes were extra. We left and moved to the wonderful Mera Hotel and Spa down the road.

Room Tip: I would just go down the street to the better hotel!

We choose Villa Baltica for the location and were not dissapointed, nice sand beach just minutes away with bars and chairs for rent. Our double bed did not meet very high expectations, we could feel the springs. Breakfast was varied, maybe except for the bread. We had one dinner which was a success, sizzling shrimps as a starter and then mussels in a creamy sauce, along with a nice Alsace wine, all presented in good English and with a smile.

I did not stay at the Villa Baltica, but we ate dinner there one night. They were cleaning up after a party, but did not hesitate to take time out to set up a table for us. I had the pasta and it was very good. Our waiter was very helpful and friendly. He spoke very good English, a definite plus for us. I would definitely eat there again and consider also staying in the hotel.

Stayed there 3 nights during the European cup, loved the quiet, green, comfortable atmosphere. Great breakfast, nice garden, 50 metres from the seaside (no seaview rooms), 500 from city centre. Clean, pleasant.

It was our wedding anniversary trip so we wish to find a nice, comfortable, and quite place. It was near perfect choice. Located just on the beach (ok, it was 25 meters to the sand) very comfy with clean and spacious room. Not too far away from Sopot centre so you may enjoy a walk toward the pier. Cons? Only small one, the bar is open till 11pm, so forget about late night champagne; the second one is not too big parking or too many cars on it.
So, will we stay there again? Sure!
