We took the entire hotel for our wedding guests for around 5 days and just have to thank all the staff at Villa Antonina for looking after them so well and making all them feel so welcome. Every single guest has told us they had a wonderful time staying at the hotel and we have had lots of comments on how pleasant it was - especially how friendly the staff were and how well they looked after everyone. Villa Antonina clearly made a great impression and my wife and I are extremely grateful that you were able to enhance the experience of our family and friends and add to the totality of a wonderful wedding weekend. Thank you again

It's a shame. This hotel could be so good and it's not the staff who let it down as they are excellent, hardworking and courteous - it's the owner and his terrible interior design tastes. Downstairs the bar and hall are full of old tired baroque style chairs and the bar itself is not inviting. The dining room is sparse and bare with multiple chandeliers and has no atmosphere what so ever. I would note however that the breakfast were generous in choice and beautifully presented though do ask for the real coffee. Dinners were simply sumptuous and we ate there twice despite the surroundings. Do, do try dinner, you will not be disappointed.
The bedrooms are, well sparse! There is a small table with a TV on it but nowhere to put anything down. No suitcase rack, no decent curtains so there's lots of light, no covers on the mattress or pillows, poor bedside lights, not enough hanging space in the wardrobe and not enough shelf or hanging space in the bathroom.
Come on owners get your act together and furnish the place properly as with your staff and your chef, you are onto a winner.

If you not have the habit of the 4 or 5 stars, you will not be disappointed by this hotel, but if you have you will.

The room was pretty big, but the cover on the bed is too small to cover all the bed ... and something that you just find in the hotels who have no stars or in Africa ! the soap that they propose you is so bad quality that you can even not use it !!!!

I never saw that before in Europe !! it's a shame !

It's the same for the shower gel and the shampoo ...

They have the stars because they have the elevator and the room service, but the menu in the room is even not actual.

You order regarding what they propose and 20 minutes after your order, the guy call you back telling that they bring you a new menu ... totally different.

If you find a good price for this hotel you can book, but not expect too much and bring your own soap and cosmetics products !

Room Tip: I had the number 9, you sometimes hear the train, ask a room on the side of the sea who is far, but...

This was our first stop for one night only. On a flying visit, I would not normally write a review (we visited 2 other hotels later in our trip), but Antonina made such a very good overall impression that we felt a strong positive comment was deserved.
We arrived quite late, but were courteously checked in by a gentleman who later offered directions and advice to local restaurants. We had a Polish speaker in our party of 4, but English was spoken to us. The hotel is located conveniently for a downhill walk into Sopot centre.
Our good sized, double bedded room was clean, beautifully decorated (Mrs D liked it a lot), and had tea/coffee making facilities and a hairdryer (both very important to Mrs D).
The bed was firm and we slept very well. Two little things might trouble light sleepers: 1) there were no closing curtains for full blackout, only screens and 2) there is a railway line close by. Train noise was however minimal (welded tracks, electric loco's) so no need for concern.
Breakfast was an excellent choice of (what our Polish speaker said was) typical foods including cereal, sausages, eggs, salads, fruits and yoghurts etc. The staff were very helpful and friendly.
We hope to visit the area again for a longer trip, and would have absolutely no hesitation in staying at this hotel again.

This is the second time we have stayed at Antonina. The rooms are comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. Very enjoyable trip. The hotel is situated in Sopot, quite close to the town centre and a short walk to the beach and pier

I have found Villa Antonia on one of the Tri City websites. It is a splendid place very unique and special, I have spend there couple of days with my friends and have to tell you it was very memorable. It is a perfect spot if u r travelling for pleasure or business as we have done both. It is close to the Monte Casino St and to the beach. They serve great breakfast and very tasty drinks, food in the restaurant is very well made and served. The staff is friendly and really knows how to make your stay a pleasant experience that will make you comeback for more

Villa Antonina is simply a hidden gem. First thing to know that it is now run by a new team since 2012 the experience of having worked for big guns like Hilton and Sheraton show in their approach to hospitality.

I stayed here with 10 other gents for four nights and we could not fault the team which comprises two expert managers, Tomas who is simply the best host ever, a cook and three cleaning staff team. Our requirements were three single rooms and four two-bed double rooms. These requirements were fulfilled with all the rooms having flat screen TV (Polish channels), excellent free Wi-Fi, loads and loads of space, en suite shower with toilet and extra pillows. Rooms are on two floors with a working lift in use. Rooms are cleaned daily including Sundays.

Breakfast is a combination of full English and continental – take your pick. All I can say is that it made lunches unnecessary because it was filling. If you want it made to your taste, just ask. As they only have 12 or 13 rooms the service was one-to-one service. Breakfast selection includes sliced breads, baguettes, variety of fruits, cheeses, boil or poached eggs , sausages, yogurts, ham, cereals, with tea, coffee or fruit juice.

Lunch and supper is made for guest when requested as they have a cook on-site. Contrary to previous reviews the bar is fully functioning with all kinds of drinks. We mentioned Guinness in conversation and surprise surprise, they ordered Guinness which arrived the following day. Now that’s service. It was sold at normal prices as well.

Overall, this is a very good hotel which we believe is close to being luxurious. We got more than the price we paid in service and hospitality. Ask the receptionist to get you a taxi if you want one. We found it easier to pre book a taxi from the Airport.

I booked by contact the hotel directly and anyone picking up the phone speaks perfect English.
