Sheraton Sopot Hotel
Ranked #1 of 28 Hotels in Sopot
Certificate of Excellence

We had four wonderful days here, the seven of us, I have to use most of my superlatives.
You have access to a hotel beach, which is a must on a hot day, and Sopot's pulsating town center is 2 minutes walk away. Rooms are up to the highest standard, as well as room-service.
The breakfast is absolutely great, and if you should need something extra they'll provide it. Staff and porters are effective and friendly. The hotel lounges are comfortable, and seem never to be crowded.
One can discuss the prices, however, we think we got good value of our money. I know the hotel standard in Sopot, I've stayed at the 4 most expensive ones, Grand inclusive.
Sopot's famous Molo is just outside the front door, and offers exiting transport by boat to Gdansk Old Town.
Parking facilities could be better, that is if your van is higher than 190 cm.
Stay here, get spoiled.

I am sure that your interesting and detailed review will be helpful for other travelers and thank you very much for taking the time.
Regretfully the hotel has limited parking space in front and the nearest underground parking has height limitations but should you come to stay again in the future please give us “ heads up “ and we will do our best to organize an alternative parking at close vicinity.
Looking forward to spoil you on your next visit.
Kind regards

I was in this summer in the Sheraton Sopot.

They give me very nice room with a very nice view.

They call it a suite, and it is not, but the room is very well organized and the view is really good.

It was a corner room in the best corner of the hotel with the view on the see.

The hotel is good, even if they are some details who are strange for a 5 stars hotels, like the fact that they don't park your car and that you have to wait a big line to access the public parking, who is not far but who is full all the time.

A five stars hotel need to have a solution for the parking, or buy parking places in this public parking for the clients.

It's just not normal.

For the rest I can recommend this hotel if you stay in Sopot or Gdansk.

We truly appreciate your taking the time to share your experiences and observations about your stay at Sheraton Sopot. Our staff is proud to be of service and words of recognition come as an award for their efforts. I am aware that in high season the driveway in front of the hotel and the parking gets jammed and it may be of inconvenience. Please accept my apology. Regretfully there is very little we can do about it. Sopot is “the summer capital “ of the country and the traffic may get tight. We invite you to visit again off season and you will find the city even more enjoyable with many cultural and sports events.
Best regards

Good Hotel but You could find better value in Sopot. Strange that WiFi is not included in the room price. Nice Breakfast. Good location by the Sea and the square where the main shopping road begins. We arrived by boat from Gdansk and could check as soon as we walked off the pier.

Nice hotel, very nice location, friendly staff.
Before you ask for extra hour of late check in eg. till 1 pm you will get info that it cost 45 PLN, so I will leave it without comment. For example Paris H. owned brand won't charge you for such "things".
Generally very nice hotel.

This is a very beautiful Hotel right by the pier. The view from Most rooms is of the Baltic Sea which is wonderful. Our room (317) had a great view and was very nice. I like the use of teak to add a nautical appearance to the hotel. Service is 5 star, rooms super clean with 5 star finishes..We were in room 317 and had a nice view of the Sea. Rather than spend 79 zl on breakfast we walked 3 min to city center and for 40zl had wonderful breakfast with champagne and outdoor seating. Sheraton is in perfect location, right in the heart of Sopot. You can not beat this hotel in Sopot. Its the best.

Thank you for your review and the positive comments. Sopot is indeed a wonderful city to visit and offers a variety of option to spend time and explore culinary delights.
We serve extgended buffet breakfast in our main dining room but for those who’d rather take little something in the morning our Rotunda terraces offer a small but fine selection of a la carte breakfast accompanied with the great view of the peer and the bay. Stronlgy recommend to try on your next visit which hopefully be soon.

Had a wonderful stay in The Sheraton. It was our first time to Sopot, coming from the Eurozone the currency conversopn made prices extremely reasonable for food and drink so we decided to splash out on the accommodation.

The hotel is in the perfect location, literally on the beach and besides Sopot's main Monte Casino area. The hotel has a private area cordoned off on the beach with loungers, cusions and towels which is super if trying to beat the crowd on the beach on a hot summers day.

The staff are very friendly and professional, perhaps could be a little warmer at the hotel bar.

The breakfast spread was fantastic also, however it is very pricey.

The rooms were kept very well and I loved the fact that there was a separate bath to the shower.

The swimming pool and spa area are also wonderful however a little basic.

The only negative of the stay was the additional costs. Nowadays I think it is quite harsh to charge 60pln per day for wifi when the majority or bars/restaurants/hotels offer it as standard now. There was an extra charge for the spa experience package was a little unexpected also seeing as it was only for sauna, Jacuzzi, steam rooms.

Overall, I would return but only if I noticed an exceptionally good price on the accommodation as I know I would need room to get all the extras too.

Stayed five nights with two small children. By all means a five stars place. Well appointed enjoyable rooms. Excellent food in club lounge. Best location in Sopot. Competent staff. We grandparents may be back. Our downgrading depends mainly on limited acess for children to pool, the rest of the spa was totally off limits. Childrens play-room was small, dark and costly. Their choice not to pamper the hetero-couples market segment is their right, but irritating that their promotion material gave the opposite picture. Security was very high. To go from breakfast to our room we had to use the key card five times. Why? We didn´t find Poland that dangerous. Tip to those on a budget: The hotel parking cost us 90 PLN a day. Several nearby guarded lots prices were a fraction of that.

Room Tip: Stayed on fifth floor corner with view of sea and Molo. Sea view is essential. - A real experience.

Dear langvass,
Thank you for your review but mostly for choosing to stay as Sheraton Sopot Hotel and please accept my apologies for the inconvenience caused. The operating hours of the pool for children is restricted from 11:00 am to 06:00 pm and might come into conflict with planning other activities with your young ones. It is to give other guests some time to relax in the spa end enjoy the peaceful atmosphere there. Sopot has a lot of outdoor and indoor swimming facilities and we invite you to check on them when you travel with kids next time.
kind regards
