Built in the 70's, this hotel has been well maintained. We enjoyed our comfortable double room on the 6th floor. There is no central air, but it was nice to open the windows to let the sea breeze in. The location is a short walk to the beach or bus station to visit nearby towns. It's also a short walk to the 13th century church that is very impressive and the nice restaurants nearby. There is also a good museum of Poland's military history. Kolobrzeg also has a nice beach that is long & large so you won't feel crowded. The morning breakfast was OK. It was disappointing they served an inferior brand of corn flakes & coffee. There is a nice selection of channels on the sattelite tv in the room in English, Polish, German, etc. I enjoyed practicing my rusty Danish with a tour group from Denmark. There is also a disco that looked like it would be getting lively later on but the wife & I left early as our disco-days are long behind us. Overall this is a nice hotel and Kolobrzeg has lots to offer for a summer visit.
