Stayed during recent music festival (Opner). The hotel has a delightful location right on the waterfront with great views over the harbour and sail training ships moored there. It's also adjacent to the main entertainment beach and in easy reach of Gdynia centre by foot.
Rooms: Comfortable rooms with all usual Marriott facilities standard for the Courtyard brand. Big picture windows allowing lots of light in. Tip: Request a sea facing room for the best views.
Food: Breakfast excellent food in the Polish style. One of the best hotel breakfasts that I have enjoyed in Poland. The restaurant is also very good with creative combinations and fusions of Polish and Scandinavian dishes.
Bar: Nice bar and on a nice day there are tables outside on the waterfront that make a delightful place to grab a coffee or a beer.
Fitness: Not sure if there are facilities in-house but you can run right out of the back door onto the harbour and do 5-7k along the beachfront promenade, and you will have plenty of other runners around you! Best run in the mornings as it can get busy later in the day on the beach & promenade in the Summer.
I marked this as a luxury hotel as even though it's a Courtyard, which is not Marriott's top brand, in Polish market and Gdynia terms it's among the top priced options. But you do get what you pay for.More
