I had high hopes for this hostel. First, the good: it's new, clean and everything still looks nice. The wifi is decent and reaches throughout the building.
It is LOUD. The walls are super thin, and you can hear every tiny thing that happens in the hallway. And, since this place attracts a lot of drunk backpackers, there's a lot of noise. The first night I was there, there were people literally screaming in the halls at 2am, 3am--and then, when everyone in the building had finally gotten back to sleep--at 5am! I know the hostel can't control the people who stay there, but when there are people yelling in the halls at all hours of the morning--and the sound echoes through all of the floors, so the front desk person definitely heard it--I expect that the staff would ask them to be quiet. They didn't, and the noise went on forever. Worst night of sleep in any hostel, ever, and I've hosteled in over 40 countries.
In general, the atmosphere is bad. The staff has that particular way of staring/glaring at you that makes everything terribly uncomfortable. That, and there are some creepy older Polish guys hanging about, reeking of beer and leering. Not a place I felt comfortable in at all. Booked a super early train so I'd have an excuse to leave sooner!
