Very nice street, an array of lovely buildings. Eating places on this street tend to be pricier than those elsewhere in the old town which is easily navigated and very compact.

“You should not miss this awesome street!!”
Reviewed January 4, 2014

If you see a whole scenary of street from Green Gate, you will be amazed how harmonized all buildings are with each other.
On the other hand, you have a closer look at each building, you will recognize that each building has a decorative art on the wall.

“Prettiest street in Gdansk.”
Reviewed December 20, 2013

I took the airport bus and needed to walk down Dluga Street to get to my hotel.
This has got to be the prettiest street in Poland - lovely buildings, lots of shopping and restaurants and the street was beautifully decorated for Christmas.

You wouldn't know this street was totally destroyed in the war unless you see the old images. The rebuilt houses look like they have always been there and look fantastic.the street has a very relaxed, welcoming feel about it.plenty to see and do and a must for any visitor to Gdansk

“Fabulous rebuild of the old city centre.”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

Just a gorgeous place to visit....shops, museums, artisan shops, history, stunning facades , bars, restaurants and plenty to see, especially nice in the evening when the entertainers are showing their skills....jugglers, fire-eaters etc.
