“Well worth a visit”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

Absolutely loads to see in this museum if your interested in shipping, you can literally spend the whole day there. The best part is the visit onto the old ship

“Better for kids than adults”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

I stopped here for coffee on the roof and watched the boats sail out. This was the highlight. The museum was not that interesting and presented a history that was not relevant to Gdansk. The exhibits inside the cranes are much better.

“A surprise for children”
Reviewed September 4, 2012

If You have a grumpy children just take Them to an one-hour visit in the interactive session in the Maritime Museum (just north of the Crane at the shore of Motlawa). It will be a nice surprise for Them (They can drive a sailship or even the tanker, they can make a tsunami, the cane learn how to send the SOS signal, etc, etc...)

“Superb display”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

5 stores of an extraordinary exhibition. The most interesant is the medieval and up-to-18th century part, as well as underwater archeology department.

“Pretty cool”
Reviewed July 30, 2012

I liked this place. The exhibits are not in English, but there are documents you can carry with you as you enter each section that describes everything in English, among other languages. Lots of interesting history and artifacts. The only thing we didn't like were the people we bought the ticket from. They seemed upset that we asked them questions.
