“Poignant exhibition of terrible day in history”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 17, 2012

The battle at the Polish Post Office is legendary in Poland. Gunter Grass' Oskar was present in The Tin Drum. Seeing the Post Office, the neighborhood, the little museum which describes that awful day is a powerful experience.

Steeped in World War II history, very moving to be there and realise what the poor people went through, how brave and heroic they were, unmissable

“A reminder”

Exhibition with photographs of the German attack in 1939 was a chilling reminder , put into context since you are in the building where it all took place

“A monument to the fight for freedom”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2012

Visit this museum with respect. Communications in a free Poland were so important to these heros that they gave their lives to fight the nazi threat to liberty.

“Learned a lot”

This was a surprise stop. We just stumbled onto this location and did not realize the whole story of the Polish Post office workers and their bravery at the beginning of WWII.
