Lovely staff Very welcoming Great location Good facilities though the door on the ladies changing room in the swimming pool area could be looked at I got my finger caught twice on this Breakfast was good with a great choice to suit everyone I thought We didn't have dinner but had a drink every night in the downstairs bar which we enjoyed The upstairs bar looked great on Saturday night but we went out that night and it was so quiet the other nights that we didn't try it We'll have to come again to do so Overall a great stay and would recommend it
PS Asked for a map and was given a photo copy which we couldn't even read so this might be addressed Called into the Mercure on the way around and they gave us a grand map and loads of information even though we told them where we were staying

Room Tip: we stayed in room 504 which was excellent we didn't hear a peep from anywhere and had a good vie...

The excellently located Hilton Gdansk is on the smallish side for a Hilton but the hotel has all the amenities that you could ask for and a superb riverside location. Everything is within walking distance including the central train station which is a 15 mins walk away. We had a very spacious corner room which was nicely decorated. Desk staff are extremely pleasant and helpful. Prices for food and drink in the hotel bar and restaurant are a bit on the pricey side for Gdansk but there are a huge number of attractively priced cafes and restaurants within short walking distance that offer more extensive menus and a more intimate ambience.

Excellent location, good standard, clean, a good gym, pool and spa section (important when you go in the winter) and good service. The restaurant is excellent and one of the best in town. This is however not a luxury hotel. It rather plainly decorated and all the amenities lack the vital extra. Compare to the Sheraton in Sopot and you know what I mean.

Great location, right by the water, 5 minutes walk to the main (old) city square. Plenty of bars and restaurants along the waterfront. A taxi from the airport takes 15-20 minutes and is about £15.
Very helpful staff - check-in quick and easy, service in the bar and breakfast was great.
The decor is clean and modern - looks good.
Rooms are "standard" but clean and in good decorative order, with a window that opens for fresh air. I recommend a room looking across the water to the concert hall on the other side.
Value for money was excellent - will definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Get a high level room overlooking the water. Well worth it. Room 422 is near the end of the corridor...

Brilliant hotel with wonderful staff. Rooms are fantastic and large and the accompanying bathrooms are pristine & plush. Breakfast is tasty with plenty of variety - specially requested omelette is my favourite. The gym, swimming pool & sauna/steam room are first rate. The brilliant staff will adhere to all wishes and always great you with a smile. Will ALWAYS stay here when visiting Gdansk.

Room Tip: I would like to but then the next time I go it maybe occupied. :-) All rooms are fantastic.

A nice boutique hotel with excellent rooms and beds, the young front desk staff were polite and helpful. However the bar staff mostly noticeable by their absence did not seem at all anxious to serve anyone (probably a training issue) - also prices were roughly three times what you were paying in the town. A good above average hotel in a pleasant location but not 5 star.

Chose this hotel as would be in Gdansk in November so wanted somewhere with an indoor pool/ sauna/ steam room incase the weather was bad. Plus it looked new with high standard interior.
It delivered !
Room selections appear to mainly be patio view, king, deluxe king (and a range of suites). Booked a king Hilton room as noted that patio view was interal courtyard rooms with no exterior view. Hoped some King Hilton rooms would be overlooking the river but when checked by email was unfortunately was told only Deluxe rooms have a river view.
However, the allocated room was nice, despite no river view. Had a room on floor 4 (of 5 floors) on the West side of the building with long views down the street and over the house roofs to the old town and could see the spires etc of the old town.
So there was a nice view and the room itself, whilst relatively plain, was of a high quality and had a nice bathroom.
The interior communal areas were all modern and tastefully done. Used the ground floor bar rather than the 5 th floor- although in summer the 5th floor with its roof top area would be the place to go.
The roof top pool area was great – never busy, with the pool, sauna and steam room. Plus for the summer an outside seating area.
The only downside was that breakfast seemed a bit pricey so unfortunately didn’t take them up on that at 70 zlote (£14) per person per day.
Reading the few 1 or 2 star reviews on trip advisor for this hotel I think applies to those people who sometimes stay in the patio view rooms. They are not much cheaper than standard Hilton king rooms, so maybe avoid those. If I was the hotel I’d do away with those then it may be the no 1 on trip advisor !
Overall, they are on to a winner here, Nice décor, on the river edge, pool area, views – what a package ! I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: If you dont have a deluxe room booked, ask for a high floor room on the west side
