“Excellent choice”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 29, 2012

We have a weekend in Gdansk and we(me and my girlfriend) chose Hilton and we didn't regret it, excellent hotel! Location, and quality of services are the best. Of course if you choose this hotel you shouldn't think about the cost, it worth!

The hotel is located ideally for tourists I suppose on a quay and merely 15 minutes walking from the main railway station. We had a taxi from the airport which took about 15 minutes and set us back 15 Euro. Although a Hilton the entrance and buildings give you the idea of a boutique hotel and staff were well trained and very friendly.

When we stayed here the hotel was fully booked but at no time it felt hectic. Rooms on the waterside of the building were large with good bedding and all the amenities. Very good airco and a lovely view. Television reception could be enhanced - but I don't know if there were better options available to watch in this part of Poland - sometimes very blurry though. Bathroom was very fine with bathtub and seperate shower. Housekeeping was excellent, sometimes the turn down service was forgotten although requested.

Breakfast was, for Hilton standards, quite spectacular with all the usuals and some local options too. Staff were marvellous and efficient and several hot options could be ordered at your table as well.

The hotel has a nice cosy bar on the top floor with a lovely view next to a very nice pool, with two sauna's (dry and damp).

It seems the hotel is popular during weekends with scandinavian visitors but very tranquil on other nights.

Next time in Gdansk this will definately be the hotel were we'll stay.

Central location. By the river in the heart of old town. Rooms with a a viev to a river Excellent fiish restaurant (Fish market) just beside the hotel. Another low cost fish bar is located at the boat (opened onlu during the summer season). More then typical hilton. Really five star. Recommended if you have a car as car traffic is limited in the centre and it is very easy to get to the hotel parking what is not a rule in the city

Satying 3 nights in Gdansk in november was a cold experience, but we got a very warm welcome at the Hilton. An expetionally large room mith a view to the canal. Situated very near the old town and several very good restaurants. We found it to meet all standards for a five star hotel. Will stay there next time in Gdansk

We have been driving ourselves 3,000 kms in Poland over the course of 12 days. We needed a good place to recharge our batteries and this Hilton was just what we needed!

Excellent reception, easy car parking, helpful staff and splendid location where we could walk around the quay wall and old town. At first the foggy day/night was a disappointment, but then we appreciated the romantic quality of the Fall and proximity to the Baltic Sea. The bath tub was a special treat as was the SUPERB !!!! breakfast.

Took dinner at the in house restaurant and found it to be too fancy and hoi paloi for our tastes (also quite expensive) but the waiter was great.

We will be sorry to leave the hotel and wonder what it would be like to visit again at Christmas Time.

Room Tip: Try to get a harbor view: It's super!

Spent a couple of nights here in may 2011 as a mini-honeymoon. The hotel is just great, has everything you need and is clean and fresh.
There is absolutely nothing bad to say at all about the hotel or it's staff!
The breakfast was superb too.
I'd highly recomend it to anyone visiting the city, the price is raffordable and the location superb along the canal.

Room Tip: Our room had its windos toward the back of the hotel, it suited us just fine.

This is the best hotel I have visited in Gdansk so far. Superb location, the building adapted in a perfect way (you do not feel it is a chain hotel, feels much more like a boutique one), clean, quiet, with spacious rooms. The breakfast was excellent, and the additional food & drinks (e.g. from a minibar) are reasonably priced.

Room Tip: Go for a Deluxe room - great views.
