Behind the Brno Station, Have to really look for it as the restaurant is located underground with a small entrance from the road. Not very well maintained, service is very slow. But the waiters are always pleasant in their shabby uniform. If you are longing or want to try Indian food, you can go there. Tried tandoori chicken, Aloo Paratha. It was good for 2 persons.

IMHO one of the best indian restaurant in Brno (with Goa restaurant), situated right in the centre. Correct address is: Josefská 427/14. Food is excelent, but servis is sometimes slow (so count more time to have a meal ;). It´s definitely worth a try.

Nepalese run Indian food, excellent Nan bread, well spiced curry and plenty of it. Decor could be better but who cares

I think I spelled the name wrong it is actually Anna Purna, and it is right behind the Grand Hotel Brno, near the train/bus station. You just walk up the stairs from the main street and you will practically walk into the restaurant. Since it is a restaurant and not a bar there was no smoking, which was a welcome breath of fresh air too.
Seems strange to go into an Indian restaurant where they speak Czech and Indian, and very little English. But we managed to order and get some great Indian food. We had been in the Czech Republic for a week and we were enjoying the Czech food and beer, but this was a welcome change of pace and it was excellent. We had the Tikka Masala and the Tandoori Chicken. The service was friendly also. I would definitely recommend it.
