The StaroBrno brewery is not right in the exact centre of the city, but it is easy to reach via the excellent tram network, and it can be walked to in about fifteen minutes from the centre. As expected, the building is large, as is the restuarant. We went on saturday evening at peak time, but there were still plenty of available tables. With smoking being permitted (in certain sections only I believe), the smell of smoke was always present. Service and food were both excellent, it was probably the nicest food we ate during our stay in the city. The beer is also excellent, it is of course brewed on the premises, and there is an extensive choice available. I recommend a visit here.
