We stumble almost by accident in this lovely restaurant, with the main dining room below street level. The vaulted ceilings are a testimony to the history of the city. Our lovely waitress Erica helped us with the menu and recommended traditional Czech cuisine that we liked. The highlight was the Scickova, a meat dish with veggie sauce, whipped cream and cranberry sauce accompanied by bread dumplings. We chose a red Frankovka wine that we truly enjoyed. Nice food, lovely atmosphere, nice stuff. And affordable. Apparently the best night is the Friday when they have live traditional Czech music playing. I'd eat at Pod Radnicnim Kolem again. Try it if you are in Brno. Btw, it's very close to the old Town Hall.
