When I lived in Zastávka u Brna I passed by the Castle many times on the road and also on the boat trip along Brno Lake.
When we had the chance for aq private tour we jumped at it and were shown around by a friend's daughter who was one of the students employed as guides in the summer.
Over the years the castle has been used for a variety of endevours including housing apprentices in the building trade.
The restoration that led to the castle opening to the public and the continuing work to restore the damage of eons results in a place to visit for an afternoon.
