really nice hotel for Czech rep. but expensive i think for what you can get, for that kind of money you should have more in a room like coffe machine and so.Parking 20€ is tooooooo much and should be in that price for night also 10€ for brakefast !!! welll you can have really big dinner in a city for that price.

Room Tip: i did have a room in to a busy street and it was ok, no noise

Moving from Prague, was very happy with the exteriors and location of the Hotel. The staff was friendly and the rooms neat but absence of a few basic amenities spoilt the complete aura. The most important thing absent was tea/ coffee making machine. Tea was got from the lounge but was cold. No ironing board and iron was another absence. The double beds were light and got separated in the night, so not very friendly for a couple. Lighting was too less and not linked. The breakfast was just about adequate and did not offer too much variety. If these things are looked into, this could have become a great hotel.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 311, overlooking the street. 5th floor does not have windows

I spent 3 nights there while attending a corporate event hosted in this hotel. The room was much bigger than I expected with spacious bathroom with Jacuzzi. Overall room layout was very functional with enough space for everything. The bed was very comfortable.
My room was on the top 5th floor and had sky lights instead of windows. To my surprise the sky lights had motorized shades and the glass panes could be opened and closed. There are plenty of electrical outlets. The ones in bed’s head board were a nice touch – you can have you phone charged at night while having it right by your side.
I like the overall appearance of the hotel, especially from the floor of the 5 story atrium
A few notes:
Elevators (lifts) are full glass and travel on a side of the building, so if one afraid of heights it may not be a pleasant ride.
Parking is 20 EUR a night
Rooms have hard wood flooring and no carpeting, so bring your sleepers.

Overall it is an excellent hotel and if I will be back in Brno I will definitely stay in it again.

The Barcelo Brno Palace is a charming and grand hotel in the center of Brno. The building itself is elegant and very "white" inside. Location is unbeatable - it's within walking distance to all of the main plazas as well as the Catedral Petrov, and is also a few hundred yards from the train station as well.

Rooms are spacious and well kept. Design is modern, with wooden floors, ambient lighting and contemporary-furnished rooms.

Staff are friendly; however, the Check-in and check-out process was quite slow - it took about 10 minutes from the moment I presented by passport until I received my room key. To be fair, the check-in agent was new to the hotel, but it was no faster during check-out which was handled by a manager.

Not exactly the best value, but given the lack of other high quality choices within Brno there's not much to complain about. A solid choice.

its new, smart and well located. very imposing entrance hall and central atrium. the check in is small and we had a drink whilst we waited for the staff to deal with us. the rooms are spacious and lots of toys but the quality of the materials is not great. if you are at the front of the building then you will hear the rumble of the trams. The bed was comfortable but the lighting a bit difficult to deal with. Bathroom was very good. Breakfast was perfectly good and although the internet is available in the rooms the coverage is weak.

Just spent the weekend here attending a friend's wedding. It could not have been better.
Beautifully appointed hotel in an imposing building in a central Brno location.
The lobby area is as spectacular as it can be, plus the Deluxe room we had was huge, with comfy beds, 4m high ceilings, huge windows etc. Just to be objective: an ironing board/iron in each room wouldn't be too much to expect I imagine. Only other downsides: check-in could perhaps be sped up a little bit; and as it happens in older buildings they can get a bit noisy, people speaking loudly in the corridors, doors slamming etc. but nothing major to worry about.

The bathroom is modern and sleek, and great size.
Breakfast was delicious with plentiful choice.
Would definitely stay again.

Room Tip: Wait for a deal and get a deluxe room

My second stay here and this just as good as the first. The hotel is fairly new, clean and really a great place. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and well sized and all in all it's great value for money. I booked indirectly using one of the hotels booking websites which gave a much better rate than direct! I will use this as my 'usual' when visiting Brno now.
