My wife and I needed a ride from Carvoeiro, Portugal to Seville, Spain. Our hotel wanted a ridiculous price to book a private car and we researched ways to get to Faro to catch a bus or flight. Quick google search produced Daytrip (I hadn’t heard of this company before, but reviews were great). This price was great and we booked only 1.5 days in advance. Our driver, Alexandre, showed up early, was very polite, helped with our bags, drove a smooth van, answered questions and was a great conversationalist when we wanted, and was quiet when we napped on the 2.5 hour drive. Once we got to Seville he navigated the teeny tiny roads very well and was so knowledgeable, he managed to get us right in front of our hotel (Rey Alfonso X, which had a crazy tight turn that the van would’ve gotten stuck if he followed gps). Super convenience and more comfortable than Ubers to planes train or automobiles with door to door professional service.

Overall we HIGHLY recommend this service and in particular, we recommend Alexandre based out of Algarve area in Portugal.

We took two trips with the DayTrip - one from Split to Ljubljana for 6 people with 1 stop and the second from Ljubljana to Venice for 4 people with 2 stops.

The entire experience, from using the website, communicating with the team, editing and confirming the pick-up and drop-off points to the actual drives - all of it was pleasant and professional.
For the second trip, we needed a custom itinerary, which you have to request by email. It was got everything we requested, were able to edit our pick-up and drop-off points later when we confirmed out hotels.

Both our drivers, Mladen and Sanel were on time, very friendly, nice companions for a lengthy rides, and excellent drivers! They gave us tips on on what to see and where to have lunch during our stops. Everyone spoke excellent English and reachable on WhatsApp.

The DayTrip team responds to your emails promptly, usually the next day because of the time difference.

We recently used Daytrip for the first time to travel from Seville to Lisboa with João as our driver. João was waiting for us promptly at 9:00 am, helping us to load our luggage and get underway with a smile despite torrential rains. Driving conditions were challenging, with unusually heavy rains from Seville until we were in Portugal. João was a great driver and we felt safe throughout the journey. Along the way, we made a couple of stops - for a wine tasting at Bacaloa winery and for lunch. All along the way, João was patient, stayed with the vehicle and allowed us the space we needed to thoroughly enjoy the trip. His English was very good and he provided useful travel tips and advice along the way. We reached our destination feeling relaxed and ready to experience Lisboa. Overall we had a superb experience and would highly recommend both your service and this particular driver to any travelers. We would love to use your service when we travel in Europe again, if we have the opportunity.
