Highly recommended food and wine selection. The host did his best to cater to all our needs and explain the different options.

We informally planned to eat here, not realising how small it is (in a good way!). Of course, it was fully booked, but we were very lucky that one table didn’t turn up, and we took their place. The wine list is extensive, with many wines available by the glass as well as the bottle. The menu is small but covers everything you might need. Between two of us we had four small plates which was ample. The food is prepared in front of you and is exquisitely presented. The flavours delivered from the obviously fresh ingredients are wonderful. Despite the small number of covers, there is absolutely no time pressure and we stayed long enough to be able to fit in a dessert too. We would thoroughly recommend Wine O’Clock but you’ll probably need to book unless you’re very lucky!

As far as I'm concerned, it can always be Wine o'Clock in Prague. This was a spectacular TripAdvisor find. You approach the restaurant on crowded touristy streets, but it sits on a quieter block, and inside is an oasis with just 12 seats. The chef prepares your food in full sight, and the server makes thoughtful recommendations from the wine list that focuses on Apulia in southern Italy, with a few Czech bottles.

The restaurant is a far cry from goulash and pivo. It's a tapas menu with a focus on cheeses, cured meats, marinated vegetables.and greens. We had four small dishes and it was just right to leave us satisfied but not overfull. Stars included the warm goat cheese with a very light raspberry-vinaigrette salad, and a salad with beef

Service is warm and attentive; with a small menu, they know the dishes well and make good recommendations. If you give them a sense of your taste in wine, they'll bring you a sample before pouring a glass.

Wine o'Clock may not be classic Prague, but it is world class.

Made a reservation here based on other reviews. This place did not disappoint! It was amazing. NEED a reservation as it's a 12 seat restaurant. It feels like i'm dining in the chef's kitchen. My husband loves wine and he was thoroughly impressed by the selection and pairings. So mad I was pregnant during this trip! but she had a non-alcoholic sparkling wine for me. The owner and the chef were so nice. The menu is small and changing and sooo good. Trust them!

We were lucky enough to get four seats (without a booking) at the bar counter in this very cosy little wine bar. There is an extensive wine list imported largely from Italy. After explaining the type of wine we liked we were offered three different samples to taste before selecting a preferred bottle. The tapas has both hot and cold options which are prepared in front of you. Friendly and efficient service. Overall a great experience.
