If you are a budget traveller staying in or hanging around the centre you can have a decent dinner and a beer at a reasonable price. Food is ok, very basic, nothing sophisticated. I don't drink beer so can't say anything. It's not a restaurant though they serve fast.

Unlike others we found the staff fairly friendly. In addition to good beer and typical Czech fare, this place has a large non-smoking area upstairs, unusual for a European restaurant. Good place for lunch when in downtown Prague. Large windows give the place a bright, modern feel while maintaining some old-world charm.

It's a good place for limited budget. The food is cheap and tastes nice. The dishes were better than we expected, better than some expensive places in Prague.

The food here is good and surprisingly cheap. We enjoyed the goulash especially. In general, the food itself is not something to go crazy over, but definitely worth the money.

Was here with a large group. We all mostly ordered goulash, as we were in a hurry and thought it might save time. This dish came with a small beer, or what they refer to as lemonade (but which is really some kind of sickeningly sweet syrup mixed with tonic water or something). The goulash was good, but only came with four or five small pieces of meat. The meat was, however, quite tender and the gravy that came with it was hearty and savory. You could mop it up with regional dumplings, which were more like moist bread but good nonetheless.

We were able to get in and out within 30 minutes, which was great as we had to start a tour shortly after dinner. The staff were friendly and had no problem doing separate checks for all of us. The prices were all very good here, and the food decent. Probably wouldn't come back as the dishes were all mostly meat-based other than a couple of salads, but what they had all seemed freshly prepared.
