Pretty nice place near Vaclavske namesti. The beers here from pivovar Ferdinand(nothing special IMHO). The food is simple and good. The service is nice. So if you want to it decent food for decent prices right in the center, this place is for you.

The restaurant is at the corner of the NE big block of streets off the mid point of Wenceslas Square when one uses Google Maps "Prague Wenceslas" so it's easy to find.

Locals go there for lunch & students for dinners into the later evening hours as the food & beer is reasonably priced. The menu is not long but varied enough for one to choose nicely priced, good Czech food. We had orders of goulash with dumpling and a small steak with fries, plus two .5 L of tasty Czech beer for 420 Ck [about $25 US]. That is a fair price for a Central European capital city.

The food here is traditional czech at amazing value. It was my first meal in Prague and sincerely the best one I've had. The food is cheap and so is the beer. Do not leave without trying their special Sedm kuli beer absolutely delicious as well as their spicy sausage appetizer and goulash!

I go here quite often for the daily lunch menus. I've never been disappointed, they have 5 food choices, at least 1 is vegetarian. They have 2 soup choices too, the staff are effective and quick, there are usually a lot of people there around lunchtime but I've always been able to find a seat. They have a non-smoking area too. However they don't have wifi and the toilets are not the greatest.

This restaurant is cheap, food is very very good and service is fast. The restaurant's speciality seems to be pig's leg which is about 1900 grams and looks delicious. We eat some pork and chicked filé. Both vere excellent and prices a low. The athmosphere of the restaurant is also very nice and "farm" style decor fits well in this place.
