The work displayed here is absolutely mind blowing! Words can’t describe how spectacular these works are. A caravan of camels within the eye of a needle?! A full train on a hair?! The works are phenomenal however the museum space was lackluster and a lot of questions went unanswered as much information was not in English (though this is my English speaking fault)
Another museum in Prague that has some great exhibits but turns out to be ~30 minute quickie. If you take it slow. Price is not steep so I think you get decent value for your money. That is because there is some very unique artwork, like strain of camels sculpted on a mosquitoe's wing or
We were impressed of how interesting this museum was.All the exhibits were very interesting and you can something not very usual. The lady at the museum was very kind and helpful. Maybe the price of 6 euros is a bit more than we would expect.
Were aiming to look round the monastery but it wasn't open to the public so popped in to this small (of course) museum of miniatures.Fascinating to focus on whole ships, trains, written scripts, scenic views and parades of varied animals painted (don't know HOW), on grains of rice, mosquito wings, fleas leg etc. worth the patience to focus carefully and take the time to ponder, wonder and appreciate these perfect miniature art works.
This small museum is really worth a visit. Around the edges of a room are various items that are so small you need to look through a microscope to see but are fascinating - the flea with the golden horseshoes was my favourite but I found all really interesting and went around them more than once. The museum is right at the top of the hill by the monastery.
Fascinating, interesting and absolutely mind boggling:
We had an very long and very hot walk here from Prague castle, but oh boy it was worth it, such a fascinating hidden gem in Prague!
The reception left much to be desired, barely meeting our eye when we entered and going as far as to lean backwards on her chair and block access to 2 of the prices whilst we were there, but never mind
