We found Dlouha Zed via Pinterest when looking for something to eat in Barrandov. As this area is not really filled with restaurants and Dlouha Zed had the best reviews in the area, we gave it a try. And it was OK-ish.

What was great, were the soups (Won-ton soup & Dlouha Zed soup). The main courses were good, but not great. It wasn't the kind of 'Vietnamese Chinese' you get in the shopping malls or downtown, but the sauces were jellyish (something we aren't fond of). I had the chicken in sweet-sour sauce, drowning in jelly, but the chicken was good. My girlfriend had chicken with almonds and rice, which was good but a bit too salty.
As for the drinks, the Green and Jasmine teas are very nice.

Dlouha Zed is a good place to eat and maybe we just choose the wrong dishes, but there are better places to go.

That was not my first time in Prague, but at every visit I find the time to visit this restaurant: it's a sort of travel in Chinese cooking, really different from the standardized (I mean adapted to the western taste) chinese food you can find everywhere. And if you have time you can ask in advance for some traditional dishes that you cannot find elsewhere, such as the hard boiled eggs fried with chinese sauce or the real traditional spring rolls (a whole meal, not fried, with pancakes rolled directly at the table with a great variety of ingredients, vegetables and meat, raw and cooked) or great home made Dim Sums.
The restaurant is not in the centre of the City but it deserves a visit.

Interior of the restaurant is very beautiful. Staff cannot speak czech very much but is very nice and helpful. Meals are little bit more expensive than I would expect at such place as Barrandov, but portions are big enough. For vegetarians they do not have many choices and their sweet and sour chicken was not too much (had my boyfriend).
