“lovely evening”
Reviewed May 1, 2014 via mobile

Great friendly service. Lots of care and attention to detail. Food selection was not huge, but fresh, delicious and very well presented. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and very comfortable to be in. What made the whole experience so unique was the live music with a great selection of evergreens wonderfully played and sung by a charming man on piano. We are looking forward to coming again soon!

“Excellent Czech cuisine in atmospheric restaurant”
Reviewed April 30, 2014

Have just got back from a weekend in Prague, and dined here on the Monday evening. Just stumbled across it while walking round the old town. Great service, extensive traditional menu - the food was very good, lovely warm atmosphere, and good value compared to many other European cities.

“Interesting venue, decent meal”
Reviewed April 27, 2014

Had dinner here early on Friday as we had to go and catch our flight. Seemed the most expensive of the places we eat for what we had. Food was fine and building is lovely but it just felt like the restaurant was there for tourists

“A Delicious Welcome to Prague!”
Reviewed April 23, 2014

On our first evening in Prague, wandering around Old Town Square streets, we happened upon this elegant yet inviting restaurant. Our table was in a comfortable 'semi-private' alcove, with Tony Bennett-era music in the background. Our servers were professional and helpful with the menu. Bread was served with mushroom butter, and everyone in our party ordered a game dish. My wild boar goulash was rich and delicious, served with an incredible herbed dumpling to absorb every drop of the sauce! This dumpling was so good, I avoided ordering another dumpling for the rest of my trip because it could not be topped! We all enjoyed our experience at this restaurant. The menu offered Czech dishes not seen in the more 'touristy' restaurants. Our meals were well-prepared and absolutely delicious!
