Ate here whilst visiting castle with child. Good old atmosphere with intriguing astronomy lithographs adding interest to the walls.
Ordered an entree for the child, as no child option, and main for myself. I had a traditional Czech dish of sliced pot roasted beef served with a cream sauce and cranberries and sliced dumplings, perfect for mopping up the sauce. The meal with one tea was pricier than paid elsewhere in downtown Prague, in fact the most expensive meal had so far at 500k.
A bit cheeky is advertising the menu of the day at a much lesser price on blackboard outaide, but then have no mention of it in the menu inside. So if you forget about it whilst reading the menu, then you pay more. Also cheeky is charging 50k for basket of bread when it wasn't asked for.
Food good quality, atmosphere good and so too service.
