“Good food and nice atmosphere, but NY performance for guests could be better”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 8, 2013

Spent NY night in the restaurant with the having buffet option there (pr-paid food and drinks paid additionally).
My major impression is:
1) Food was generally good (no complains), but not precious to be something super extra fancy (as for NY night).
2) Atmosphere in the restaurant was also nice and positive.
3) Service was just excellent as for me (officiants were impressive with their skills of adding water/vine to the glass and taking empty plates away).
4) Restaurant has very nice terrace with the view on Charles bridge and Vltava river, especially as for NY night it was great location to see fireworks.
5) Advertised performance for quests could be better I think. There were several girls dancing around guests tables (not super impressive, average I would say), selected music was also somewhere between 3 and 4 I think (from 5 stars scale).

“Great Food, Great View!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2013

We ate here in September of 2012 on our visit to Prague. We were out walking around and just happened upon this restaurant. This restaurant has an outdoor seating area that overlooks the Charles Bridge. The priceless view made for my favorite dinner atmosphere of my whole trip. We had a little wait but didn't need reservations. We had a drink while we were waiting at the outdoor bar outside up the stairs and outside the entrance of the restaurant. The food was delicious. While we were there we got a bonus of a fireworks show over The Charles Bridge. I attached pictures.

“Excellent NYE Experiance”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 3, 2013

We arranged for a party of 14 for NYE and although pricey the experience was marvelous. We went with the NYE Buffet option to satisfy the whole party. We did not have a single complaint from the party. The restaurant had clearly made an effort and the B&W theme was carried throughout the venue.

The best part of the evening was undoubtedly standing on the terrace by the Charles Bridge and watching the fireworks bring in the New Year. I cannot think of a better position to have done so having spent 5 days in Prague. ( One tip to travelers, the New Years Day fireworks are more spectacular but get to the Charles bridge early - 17:00 to have a chance at seeing them, better still go to the bridge upstream (Most Legii) for a better view.)

“One of the best restaurants with excellent view”

One of the best restaurants with excellent view on the Charles bridge. Best time to visit April-October when you can sit on the terase. Wine and food is exceptional.

“A very quiet Christmas dinner”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 28, 2012

My partner and I had trouble deciding where to have our Christmas dinner in Prague. We decided to try for something a bit more upscale and made a reservation via e-mail almost a month in advance. Although the food was quite good, there was something lacking in this restaurant. First, there was no need to make a reservation, the restaurant appeared to be only 1/4 full. The wait staff although polite were lacking in warmth and not particularly helpful with the menu or wine list (recommending the most expensive wine on the list when I had asked for help with choosing between 3 other wines). The location by the river was nice but the ambiance was merely average. A decent restaurant but nothing really to write home about, particularly compared to some other jems in Prague.
