We did not visit the Palace itself, but I highly recommend to have lunch or coffee and cake on the outside patio in the cafe, which offers a beautiful view onto the old roof tops and churches. Great place for a break in the busy sightseeing schedule of the palace.

The museum was interesting. A very personal history which made it quite a unique experience. Liked the art and music memorabilia. Takes about an hour or so and you can drop into cafe for a bite after.

This city seems very safe and everyone is friendly. One treat for us was the tour with Viking River Cruise which included: a private tour of the Lobkowicz Palace with a sit-down lunch (Mixed green salad, Czech goulash with dumplings, homemade cheesecake), private 5 song concert, self-guided tour with hand-held recorder, and we received an autographed book "The Lobkowicz Collections" signed by Alexandra and William Lobkowicz. This sprawling city has so many incredible sights and intriguing history. You will thoroughly enjoy it!

We loved the Palace. Lunch was delicious and the chamber music beautiful. The museum was awesome. Seeing original manuscripts from the maestros was breath taking.
