This place has a steep admission fee, but it's well worth it- it was easily one of the highlights of my stay in Prague. The artwork and artifacts are decent, but I enjoyed most the audio tour, narrated by William Lobkowicz, that runs through his family history and gives a personal touch to everything you see. It's fun, friendly, and very well done. It's got portraits, porcelain, original musical scores (and instruments), scenery paintings, watercolor-and-feather bird paintings, dog portraits, etc.
The full audio tour is 90 minutes, but the "greatest hits" is less than 30, and of course you can stay and linger to look at things and read signs. I was in a rush and had to be out in less than 60 minutes, which was very doable (especially since 2 rooms were closed for a concert), but I would have loved to stay longer.

I have visited the Lobkowicz Palace more than once -- it merits a return visit if possible! The palace itself is elegant, the collections are amazing and the tour is very useful.

Came here for the concert which was excellent included in the price was the audio tour of the museum. If you enjoy classical music and its history this is a little gem not only explaining the connections of the family to composers but what they had funded. A good selection of prague history without being to heavy. Finally finish off with a very reasonably priced and good quality meal at the terrace cafe with stunning views over prague.

This audio tour was the best we ever took. It gave a history of the city, told how everything was lost after WWII, regained, lost to the Communists, and finally regained. There were rooms for arms, dogs, original music manuscripts by Mozart, Beethoven, Handel etc. The narration was fantastic.

Quite ordinary for the fee. This is a private palace that mostly has portraits of the owners ancestors, and even their dogs! Only highlight are 2 music notes of beethoven and mozart. Overall - avoid.
